TEHRAN (ANA)- Scientific assistant to the Iranian vice-president for knowledge-based market development affairs said that more than 10% of the products of knowledge-based companies are directly and indirectly related to the petrochemical field.
Reza Soltanalizadeh made the remarks at the press conference of the “Petro Fan” in Farsi-language or "Petro Tech" Event 2023 in Tehran on Saturday November 11 where he said that, “The event will be held with a synergistic approach among the apparatuses and main players of the country's petrochemical industry and the linking knowledge-based companies with the main needs in the industry.”
“There are 9,200 knowledge-based companies in the country that have entered various industries since 2009, and more than 10% of the products of these companies are directly and indirectly related to the petrochemical field,” the official added.
Soltanalizadeh, who is also the secretary of the Petro Tech event, emphasized that the biggest issue in the knowledge-based field is the economization of products and technologies, adding, “Holding the Petr Tech event by the Persian Gulf Holding will create a large market for knowledge-based companies.”
“In the Petro Tech event, the technological needs of the petrochemical industry will be introduced to knowledge-based companies in seven groups in specialized panels. Moreover, in this event, contracts will be concluded and the equipment used by Persian Gulf Holding will be unveiled.”
“In the Petro Tech event, knowledge based firms will communicate directly with the managers of the petrochemical industry, and they will bring up their issues and the path of progress will be established,” he added.
Petro Tech 2023 event with the motto of "Petrochemistry on the Path of Innovation" will be held from December 3rd to 5th under the auspices of the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Co in the IRIB International Conference Center in the north of the Iranian capital.
