TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Amir Jafari and Ali Seifi won two silver medals at the 2023 Para Powerlifting World Championships on Saturday.
Jafari finished in second place with 202kg in the Men’s Up to 65 kg.
Seifi also claimed a silver in the Total category with a total of 544kg. Chinese powerlifter Yi Zou seized the gold with 633kg.
The competition has brought around 500 elite powerlifters (including 56 juniors) from 80 countries together at the Hilton Dubai Al Habtoor City.
