According to Rahyafte(the missionaries and converts website):After being deported from Sweden, Momika had recently relocated to Norway, seeking asylum.
“Today I left Sweden and am now in Norway under the protection of the Norwegian authorities,” he wrote in a post on X on March 27.
His lifeless body was found in Norway on Tuesday, according to several reports from European media outlets as well as users on X. Norwegian authorities have yet to respond to the reports.
Momika, had been living in Sweden as a refugee for many years. His repeated acts of burning the Quran last year sparked outrage in the Muslim world.
During the summer, Sweden saw several instances of the Quran being desecrated in front of embassies of countries including Iraq and Turkey. This led to widespread protests in the Muslim world and resulted in some countries summoning Swedish diplomats.
In response to these incidents, Denmark passed a law making it illegal to burn the Quran.
Following his actions, Sweden decided to expel Momika due to the strained relations with Islamic countries and the global Muslim outrage against him.
