Most apprehensions occurred in the Hebron (al-Khalil) governorate, with additional detentions in Tulkarem, Bethlehem, Qalqilya, and Jerusalem al-Quds, according to the Prisoner’s Society.

This brings the total number of Israeli detentions in the West Bank since October 7 to 8,745, the group stated. Additionally, 498 individuals, including 124 minors and seven women, have been killed in attacks by Israeli forces and settlers in the occupied West Bank since the aforementioned date.

Israeli forces seized a Palestinian man after raiding his residence in a neighborhood south of Tulkarem city in the occupied West Bank, local media disclosed.

Moreover, the Israeli military arrested an individual in the al-Irsal neighborhood of el-Bireh city, as per local media, while another man was detained in Birzeit town, north of Ramallah.

Israeli incursions have been documented in various parts of the occupied West Bank, including the towns of Azzun and Izbat Shufa, alongside reports of gunfire after Israeli forces entered Nablus city.

In a separate incident, the Israeli military apprehended three Palestinians, among them two 15-year-olds, during operations in Tulkarem city, according to the Wafa news agency.

The agency further noted the detention of another Palestinian in Husan village, west of Bethlehem, and reported the arrest of two men in the Shu’fat camp near Jerusalem al-Quds, where tear gas was deployed.

Israeli raids were also documented in the towns of Yabad and Arrabeh in the Jenin governorate.

Meanwhile, Israeli demonstrators obstructed aid trucks bound for Gaza in the occupied West Bank, hurling food parcels onto the road and tearing open bags of grain.

Palestinian historian Saleh Abd al-Jawad, speaking from the occupied West Bank to Al Jazeera, has asserted that Israel’s current aggressions are more brutal than during the 1948 Nakba.

Al-Jawad emphasized, "There is a civilian population killed with the most sophisticated American weapons, day and night. Minute by minute."

Jenin Anzawi from Jenin refugee camp echoed similar sentiments, citing an "active genocide in Gaza" and lamenting the lack of support from Arab neighbors.

Mohammad Abu Ameera, also from Jenin refugee camp, criticized the absence of support from Arab countries, remarking, "Gaza is at war by itself, it is fighting by itself, being slaughtered by itself." He expressed frustration that Arab armies are not deployed to protect their people but are instead “used against their own people”.

During the first Nakba, 13,000 Palestinians died over three years. Since October 2023, more than 35,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza.
