Farsi Language and Iranian Culture Center opens in Kyrgyzstan
IBNA- The Center of Farsi Language and Iranian Culture was opened in the Kyrgyz State University named after Ishenaly Arabaev. The educational institution reported.
The purpose of opening the center is to study the ancient culture and history of the Iranian people, in-depth study of the Farsi language, getting acquainted with the traditions and customs of one of the world’s first civilizations, as well as expanding the circle of students studying this direction, 24 KG reported.«The Center for Farsi Language and Iranian Culture is a big step in strengthening bilateral ties between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Kyrgyz Republic, aimed at mutual enrichment, cooperation and development of friendly relations between the two countries in the higher education sector,» the statement says.
The center was founded on the basis of the Department of Fundamental and Applied Linguistics of the Institute of World Languages and International Relations.

The opening event was attended by the Ambassador of Iran to the Kyrgyz Republic Gholam-Hossein Yadegari, representative of the Al-Mustafa International University of Iran for Central Asia, Ali Purman Mohseni, Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic Kairat Imanaliev, rector of the university Aigul Abdraeva among others.
