Knowledge-Based Firm Produces Quality Control Sound Analyzing System for 1st Time in Iran

TEHRAN (ANA)- Researchers at a knowledge-based company in Iran have successfully designed and developed a sound system capable of quality controlling and classifying industrial products without the need for manpower involvement.

“Our knowledge-based product is a sound device for classifying and quality controlling industrial products in large numbers. Our machine can perform this quality controlling process fully automatically with much higher accuracy and speed than manpower,” Hossam Kafian Attari, the managing director of the knowledge-based company said, the Iranian Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy reported.

Saying that their company’s goal in designing the quality control sound system was to transform quality control processes on the industrial line into models with specific efficiency and accuracy, he added that, their machine which operates based on a machine vision technology will result in cost reduction, productivity increase and higher quality products.

The director of the company continued to say that the target market for their company's products is mostly automobile industry and car parts manufacturers, adding, “We are also targeting the oil, gas, petrochemical and steel industries.”

Kafian Attari stated that the biggest achievement of their company is that they have been able to gather a team of experts with very diverse expertise together, adding, “We are looking to do things that have not been done in the country to date. In fact, in many cases, we have locally produced the products for the first time in the country.”
