Ayatollah Khamenei Leads Funeral Prayer for Raisi with Millions in Participation

According to Rahyafte(the missionaries and converts website):Since 5 AM, people started convening at and near the Tehran University for the funeral procession of late President Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Friday prayer leader of Tabriz Ayatollah Al-e Hashem, East Azarbaijan governor Malek Rahmati, Brigadier General Mousavi, and the flight crew.

The chopper carrying them crashed in the heights of Varzaghan in East Azarbaijan province on Sunday. The bodies of the victims were found after extensive efforts of dozens of rescue teams overnight.

Funeral processions started on Tabriz on Tuesday. The bodies were then transferred to Qom later in the day. A ceremony was also held at Tehran’s Mosalla on Tuesday night to honor the officials.

The main ceremony, however, is in Tehran, the Iranian capital.

Ayatollah Khamenei led the funeral prayer for the bodies of the martyrs.

The procession is undeway from the University of Tehran towards the iconic Azadi square.

A ceremony is also set to be held at 4 PM, local time, in Tehran with participation of high ranking foreign dignitaries.

The burial procession of President Raisi is set to be held on Thursday at Imam Reza (AS) shrine in Mashhad, northeast Iran.
