Iran attends 36th Moscow International Book Fair

The 36th Moscow International Book Fair (MIBF) kicked off yesterday in Russian capital as Iran’s Book and Literature House Institute has attended the event with over 600 books both in Persian and Russian.

The fair which will run by September 3 is held at VDNH. It features over 300 stands displaying the works of local and foreign publishers.

In cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Cultural Attaché in Moscow, Iran’s Book and Literature House is introducing more than 600 titles of books on various subjects such as religion, children and young adults, Iranian studies, arts, the Sacred Defense, resistance literature, Iranian Classic and contemporary literature among others.

Furthermore, various events such as specialized meetings, unveiling ceremonies and introduction of books, meetings with publishers, authors and MIBF’s officials are among the programs of Iran’s stand in this period edition of the Moscow International Book Fair.

A part of the Iranian stand is also titled “The Corner of the Holy Quran” and is allocted to display all types of printed Qurans. Iranian calligrapher Mohammad Ali Ghorbani is attending the fair and will organize programs for the audience on Quran calligraphy.

The MIBF is the major book forum in Russia and over the CIS as a way to ‎enter the book market not only of Russia but also abroad to meet the ‎possible readers all over the world.‎

In this year’s Moscow International Book Fair there are appointments with national and international exhibitors Business, Human resources, Printing, Sports, Education, Printing and graphics, Franchising, Books, other trade shows in Sports.
